Jewish heritage tour to the ancient Jewish resistance stronghold in the Judea desert

Depart Tel Aviv via the Judean hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. There you will learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters during the rebelient against the Romans. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the Sicarii rebels (Jewish Zealots) of the first century made their last stand. Visit the remains of the walls, water cisterns, mosaic floors, palaces, synagogue, roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car.

Leave Masada and continue to the Dead Sea: Enjoy the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea that many believe has its therapeutic effects. On the way back, visit Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
