    Drive north to once the Roman capital of the region - Caesarea. See the crusaders' city,s excavations, the aqueduct and the restored amphitheatre which is being used as a concert venue. Proceed to Mt. Carmel for a panoramic view of Haifa. visit the naval museum of the illegal immigration at the time of the British mandate - "AF AL PI CHEN" (lit. Despite All). Continue to Acre to visit the local market and walk along the old harbour. Visit Rosh Hanikra, the northernmost point of Israel. Descend into the limestone Grottoes by cable. Overnight in a Kibbutz guesthouse.

  • Monday

    Drive to Safed - one of the four holy cities and the center of the Kaballa movement; Visit the synagogues: Ha-Ari (Rabbi Yitzchak Luria - one of the most influencing Kabbalits) and Rabbi Joseph Caro - author of the "Shulchan Aruch"; the most important synagogues in Safed. Visit the Artist's quarter of Safed. Continue in a Jeep tour to the feet of the Golan and then to the Golan heights - Ramat HaGolan; Stop at an observation point over the Syrian city of Kuneitra. Stop at a former syrian army camp - Tel Facher. Continue to a visit at the Banias springs. Visit Tel-Hai; Learn about the heroic battle of Trumpeldor and his comrades and see the "Roaring Lion" Statue. Overnight in a kibbutz guesthouse.

  • Tuesday

    Drive to the Rambam's grave (Maimonides) in Tiberias (Tverya); Proceed to Beit Shean (Scythopolis in the Hellenistic period), and see the beautiful excavations from Roman and Byzantine periods in the biggest Israeli archeological park. See the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue dated to the Byzantine period at Beit Alpha. Onto "Gan Hashlosha" (lit. The Garden of the Three. Arabic - Sachne) where you can enjoy the water springs located at the Gilboa mountain feet; the mountain on which King Saul was killed in the battle against the philistines. Continue to Jerusalem via the Jordan valley. Stop at Mount Scopus for a blessing (Shehechiyanu) as you enter the beautiful city. Overnight in Jerusalem.

  • Wednesday

    Tour the old city of Jerusalem. Visit the tomb of King David on Mt. Zion. Walk along the ancient Roman road - the Cardo. Visit the restored Sepharadic synagogues which were reopened after the 1967 war in the Jewish quarter. Tour the Kotel tunnels and visit Davidson center. Visit the local Arab bazaar. Walk through Jaffa gate to the tower of David's museum and see the remains of the city, some dated to the first temple period. Overnight in Jerusalem

  • Thursday

    Visit the Kotel and join the Bar-Mitzvah ceremonies. Continue to Mea Shearim neighborhood and learn about the unique lifestyle of the ultra orthodox communities in Israel. Drive by Israel's parliament, the Knesset and see the Menorah statue with the biblical emblems; Onto Israel Museum, the unique structured "Shrine of the book" - where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed and the new holyland model – a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Drive to mount Herzl to visit Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust and the military cemetery. Visit Giv'at HaTahmoshet (lit. the ammunition hill) which was taken from the Jordanian by the IDF in the 1967 War and converted into a national memorial and museum. Overnight in Jerusalem .

  • Friday

    Drive to the Dead sea through the Judean desert. Visit Qumeran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue to Masada, ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress. Visit the preserved remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue etc. Descend by cable car. Then, stop for lunch and Spa in one of the leading hotels in the area. Overnight Jerusalem.
